Ever wanted to share a Facebook post with one of your friends who is not on Facebook for whatever the reasons through email? Ever needed to post a link of a particular Facebook post on your blog or website? Ever needed to include a link to a certain Facebook post in the article you are writing for a magazine? The task is pretty simple when you want to share inside the realm of Facebook, you can share with him/her simple by hitting on the "Share" button below the post and choose where to share i.e. either on you wall/timeline, in a private message or share in a group. And one more thing, how to get a link to a particular comment on Facebook when you want a friend of you (inside or outside) to read it? You need to know a little from Nerdiology if the scenario is as above.
The text (which is "16 hours ago") in our case is called "time stamp" in technical terms. This text can be used to link to that particular post. There are two ways to link to it.
Here is how to do it:
Look at this screenshot and notice what is enclosed in the red triangle you probably thought only useful to know when the given post is created on Facebook. But it can do more- Simply click on it, it will lead you to a new page which will have only that very post you want to link to. Now left click in the address bar of your browser and copy the link. Now paste the link where ever you want, it will lead to the post you wanted to share outside Facebook upon click on it.
- Or right click on the time stamp of that particular post, select "Copy Link Address" (I suppose you are using Google Chrome, if you are using Mozilla Firefox, select "Copy Link Address" and in case you are Internet Explorer user select "Copy Shortcut) and paste wherever you want to share it outside Facebook.
